Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your information.

DocsDiligence, Inc. ("DocsDil," "we," "us," "our") encourages you to read this privacy policy (the "Policy") before using this website (the "DocsDil Site"). This Policy applies in addition to the Terms and Conditions of Use of the DocsDil Site.

By using the DocsDil Site, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Policy. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions of this Policy, please do not use the DocsDil Site.

This Policy describes our practices regarding the privacy of information that we collect through the DocsDil Site, which is hosted and operated from the United States. This Policy does not pertain to, and DocsDil is not responsible for the privacy practices of, any third party websites to which the DocsDil Site hyperlinks. This Policy does not govern our collection of information through any website, or by any other means, other than through the DocsDil Site, or the collection of information by any subsidiaries, partners, sponsors, consultants or affiliated companies.

Activity Logging

When you use the DocsDil Site, which may be hosted in part or its entirety by a third party, the DocsDil Site will collect information indirectly and automatically (through, for example, the use of "cookies" or your "IP address") about your activities.

DocsDil uses this activity information (the "Activity Information") for internal purposes such as to administer the DocsDil Site, improve the DocsDil Site, and help DocsDil understand how the DocsDil Site is being used including the demographics and "clickstreams" of its visitors.

"Cookies" are small pieces of information stored on your hard drive, not on the DocsDil Site. You are always free to decline cookies if your browser permits, but in that case, some portions of the DocsDil Site may not operate properly.

An "IP address" is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet.

Personally Identifiable Information

The DocsDil Site is designed so that you may generally browse it without providing any Personally Identifiable Information (defined below). Certain areas of the DocsDil Site, however, may require or allow the voluntarily submission of Personally Identifiable Information (for example, registration to receive DocsDil publications).

DocsDil uses your Personally Identifiable Information for the purposes for which it was submitted by you to DocsDil and for DocsDil to send you publications and invitations that may be of interest to you. Except as otherwise set forth in this Policy, DocsDil does not share your Personally Identifiable Information with third parties.

"Personally Identifiable Information" means information that would allow someone to identify or contact you, such as your name, physical or electronic mail address, and telephone number; provided, however, that Personally Identifiable Information does not include aggregated information that, by itself, does not permit the identification of individual persons and does not include the Activity Information.

Additional Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information

DocsDil may share Personally Identifiable Information with third parties, including affiliated firms and third parties performing services for or on behalf of DocsDil. Such services may include communications, database, event management, hosting, mailing, and marketing services.

Additionally, DocsDil cannot fully ensure that your Personally Identifiable Information will not be disclosed to third parties. For example, DocsDil may be legally obligated to disclose information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances, third parties may circumvent DocsDil's security measures to unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, or an error may occur in the administration of the DocsDil Site. In the unlikely event that DocsDil needs to investigate or resolve possible problems or inquiries, DocsDil may, and you authorize DocsDil to, disclose any information about you to government officials as permitted by applicable law.

Children

We do not knowingly collect or use personal data from children under 18 years of age. The DocsDil Site is not directed at children, and we request that children under the age of 18 not provide Personally Identifiable Information through the DocsDil Site. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 18 years of age, the personal data will be deleted as soon as possible.

Security and Data Protection

We have security measures and tools in place to help protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure.

As a result, although we strive to protect your Personally Identifiable Information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us through or in connection with the DocsDil Site.

Policy Updates

DocsDil hopes this Policy clarifies DocsDil's procedures regarding its collection, use and disclosure of your information including Personally Identifiable Information. From time to time, DocsDil may modify this Policy. Such modifications will be effective on the date that DocsDil posts the modified statement to the DocsDil Site.
